Retailer-Exclusive Landing Pages

Create retailer-specific store locator pages that guide customers to selected retail partners and locations

Overview#

Retailer-exclusive landing pages show stores from selected retail partners. Use them for retailer launches, channel-specific campaigns, or partner marketing.

Each page uses its own Shopify template and retailer filter. Your main locator remains unchanged.

When to Use This Feature#

  • Retail launches — Send shoppers directly to a new retail partner.

  • Channel separation — Create separate locators for major retailers and independent stores.

  • Campaigns — Match a campaign link to the retailer it promotes.

Step-by-Step Instructions#

Step 1: Duplicate Your Store Locator Page#

  1. In Shopify admin, go to Online StorePages.

  2. Click Duplicate to create a copy

  3. Rename the duplicated page (e.g., "Walmart Locations" or "Independent Stores")

Step 2: Create a New Page Template#

  1. Go to Online StoreThemesCustomize.

  2. Click Create template

  3. Name your template (e.g., "Independents" or "Walmart")

  4. Base it on your existing store locator page template.

  5. Assign the new template to the duplicated page.

Step 3: Configure the Live Retail Map Section#

  1. In your new template, locate the Live Retail Map section

    • If you don't see it, add it manually:

      • Click Add section

      • Select AppsLive Retail Map

  2. Click on the Live Retail Map section to open the settings panel

  3. In the settings panel, find the Filter by Retailers option

  4. Select your target retailers:

    • For independent stores: Select "Retailer Managed Retail"

    • For major retailers: Select specific retailers (Walmart, Target, etc.)

    • You can select multiple retailers for combined pages

  5. Save your changes

Step 4: Verify Your Results#

  • Preview your page to confirm only the selected retailers appear

  • Independent stores will show with different markers than major retailers

  • Zoom out to see the full coverage area and verify filtering is working

Step 5: Publish and repeat#

  • Preview the page and confirm only the intended retailers appear.

  • Publish the page when the filter is correct.

  • Repeat these steps for each retailer-specific page.

Tips#

  • Keep your original locator page and template unchanged.

  • Use clear names, such as “Walmart Store Locator.”

  • Preview every page before publishing.

Preparing for a retail launch#

Set up the page before launch day. Send us the retailer, launch date, product list, and store list. We use the store list to show locations before live retailer data is available.

For timing, coverage, and product-page requirements, see New Retail Launch.
